Candidate Information

President:  Lee Meyer

After a career focused on sustainability I am currently serving as Wild Ones Lexington President and want to continue to use my experience in that role. I have connections with other like-minded organizations, for example the Urban Forest Initiative.

Treasurer: Paula Plonski

I currently serve as Secretary and Treasurer for two local non-profits and will bring that experience to help the Lexington Chapter of Wild Ones with reporting expenses and revenues as required.

Membership Chair: Angela Myers

I plan to recruit and onboard new members, foster a sense of community by communicating with members and recognizing their contributions, maintaining an up-to-date membership list and monitoring membership renewals, addressing issues or concerns promptly.

At Large Board Members:

Jerry Davis

I will promote the mission of Wild Ones, through programming and events, for the enjoyment and education of our members.

Geraldine Krause

I am an active Wild Ones member, a 2022 Wild Ones gardening grant recipient and currently host a monthly group for “passionate gardeners”. I will support the board in program development.

Ann Witherington

As a botanist who advocates for native plants in home gardens, city spaces, and state sites, I will encourage programing on plant science and environmental concerns.
